Out of School Club Practitioner
We are looking for a enthusiastic individual to provide wrap around care for children aged 4-10 years between the hours of 7:30 – 9:00 am and 3:00 – 6:00 pm. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing a child centred approach and have a relevant childcare qualification, although training can be given for the correct candidate. Duties include planning activities to meet the individual needs of the children through a quality play environment.
We require a calm caring individual to prepare meals within nursery in accordance with the menu and in line with the Food Standards Agency. Other duties include carrying out food audits, putting away food, ordering food, recording information, cleaning, washing up and sometimes helping in the nursery to cover for breaks. The hours are negotiable.
This position requires a dedicated hard working practitioner that understands the importance and privilege of working with the babies and children in their early years. You will work in partnership with parents to support children in reaching their full potential through meeting the EYFS requirements. NVQ level 3 or equivalent in childcare is preferred, although full training can be given. Full-time and part-time considered.
